The Lip Treatment Ointment is intended to aid in the targeted topical treatment of conditions affecting the lips. These include viral infections, such as cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus and angular cheilitis caused by bacterial/fungal infections. Lemon Balm essential oil has strong antiviral properties and is added to help protect against the herpes simplex virus. This ointment also contains lavender essential oil which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Calendula and kigelia macerated oils are also added to help treat the inflammatory symptoms of skin conditions. In addition CBD isolate aids in pain relief caused by swellings, blisters, and rashes. The CBD isolate, essential oils and macerated oils are added to an ointment base made of almond oil, coconut oil and beeswax.  The ointment should be applied twice daily.
