Elecampane is a perennial herb that grows up to 150cm. It hosts large yellow flowers and the plant itself is often described as quite striking. Elecampagne is used medicinally. Often the root is used to treat coughs and other respiratory ailments.  It is also used to promote stomach function and to help ease symptoms such as nausea and stomach upsets. It has also been used as a remedy for worms, such as threadworm.
