Dill enjoys rich, light soil and is  a winter annual, Dill has a delicate flavour that makes it ideal for fish dishes, salads, stir fry, salad dressings, cottage cheese dips and potato salads. Use the seeds in pickling and baking. Dill is best used fresh. It is also a carminative herb which will help to prevent indigestion
